Gaganyaan is not just for sending humans to space, it is an example of cooperation: ISRO Chief




ISRO Chief Dr. K. Sivan said that we will successfully launch Gaganyaan in the time frame set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The purpose of this mission is also to test its capabilities. Through this, we want to generate interest in the minds of youth towards science.

The head of the Indian Space Agency (ISRO), Dr. K.K. Sivan said that we do not want to send only humans into space through Gaganyaan. Through this, we want to create opportunities for national and international cooperation on long term. This is an example of cooperation between several agencies, the Indian Air Force and ISRO.

ISRO Chief K.K. Sivan was speaking all these things during an event in Bengaluru on Wednesday. He said that we want to do more work in future so that people are benefited. For this, it is necessary that we cooperate and cooperate at the national and international level. 



Describing the importance of the Gaganyaan mission, the ISRO chief said that with this mission, we will get success in search, economic development, education, technological development and interest in science among the youth. Human Space Flight is the right platform for all these needs.




ISRO Chief K.K. Sivan said that we will complete the Gaganyaan mission within the time limit fixed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In 2022, Gaganyaan must have been circling around the Indian astronauts in orbit.



A few days ago, four astronauts were selected for Gaganyaan. All these Indian astronauts will go to Russia this week. They will all undergo 11 months of training in Russia. After this, they will come back and take training of crew module in the training center near Bangalore.



Significantly, a few days ago, a menu of food of Indian astronauts was also revealed. Which included egg roll, veg roll, idli, moong dal halwa and veg pulao. This food is being prepared by Defense Food Research Institute, Mysore.


DRDO is also arranging the oven to heat food in the space. For astronauts, there will be a provision of liquid food along with water and juice. All these astronauts will live in Gagnanan, 450 kilometers above the earth for about seven days.
